We’d like to introduce you to Family Health Center.   We are a local retailer focused on providing natural products for the entire family.  Our lineup includes:  Vitamins/Minerals, Enzymes, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Health & Beauty, Weight Loss, Internal Cleansing, Sports Nutrition, Ear Candles, Spelt Bakery items as well as a variety of non-medical services:  Colon Hydrotherapy, Vit D Testing,  Water Testing for Oxygenation & pH Balance, Live & Dried Blood Analysis,  Aqua Chi Foot Bath, Bach Flower Essence formulation, FIR Infrared Sauna, Massage and more.   Our philosophy is to provide nutritional information in order for the consumer to become the steward of his or her own health.  We believe that if the body is given the right nutritional support, the body can heal itself. 

Family Health Center is owned and run as a family business:  mom, daughter and son.  Long-time area residents, Lorena Butts, Susan (Butts) Wallner and David Butts have been operating their nutrition store in Sycamore since March 2005.   Rounding out their staff is area resident Linda Delap, who has worked in the medical field as a CNA & the natural health field for many years.  Linda provides the service of Colon Hydrotherapy.  Newer to Family Health Center is area  nutritionist, Kerri Oddo.

Both Susan and David completed their Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) certification in 2007.  The National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, Inc. was founded in 1988 for the purpose of training and certifying individuals who sought to counsel others in natural health techniques. Over nine thousand health professionals have participated in the certification program.
 
Susan has received additional training in “Children’s Nutrition and Vaccinations” as well as being certified for Ear Candling.  David has also received additional training and has received the designation of a “Live Blood Microscopist”, allowing him to provide the service of Live Blood Analysis.  David has also been certified for Ear Candling.  Together, both Susan and David have received additional enzyme training from Enzymedica and have received the designation of “Certified Enzyme Expert”.

Join Sue & Dave’s radio talk show every 3rd Thursday of the month at 8:40 a.m. on 1360 AM, WLBK.  We join morning radio personality, TD Ryan, for a 20-minute program on improving your health – the Natural Way.  We’ll cover topics such as Core Nutrition, Supplementation, Weight Loss, Immune System Support, Children’s Nutrition and Nutrition Myths debunked.
